Did anyone have any luck uploading videos to Core CMS?

Core is dead. Didn't you get the memo?

indeed i remember the memo. But helping a friend with his portfolio and getting a 500 error when uploading video files.

Yeah it's a pile of crap as far as trying to upload video goes.
It's dead too, so better move on.

I remember having trouble as well... I ended up using the custom layout function of the CMS to add html which linked to folder on my webserver. It's a surefire way of getting video onto the site the only problem is you have to understand what you're editing as far as the html goes.

I realize this thread is very old, but I've just released my version of Core, which has full support for HTML5 Video/Audio and so on. http://2d3d.se/forum/discussion/…

Check out 2d3d.se and resize the window. Suprb's Grid-A-Licious has been implemented, so some nice eye-candy animation here and there. Fully functional HTML5 video/audio and so on... I'm not a developer, so there might be some spaghetti-code here and there. Nonetheless, works like a charm for me.
