I just want to add for Horp...
http://www.qbn.com/topics/646827…copyediting is a word, from the root word; copyedit
http://dictionary.reference.com/…so many people don't know what they're talking about, so ignorance is thrown around as fact anymore, but it's cool.

I always thought his face was too small for his head.

"We prefer experience and expertise, so please be familiar with rules of grammar and copyediting".
Ahem, there's no such word as 'copyediting'.

So is David Carson asking us to do spec work? Why can't he just go through the portfolios on this site and find someone he likes?

David Carson Fails to Show for New Zealand Design Lectures, Event Organizer Out $35,000
By Steve Delahoyde on May 2, 2011 7:01 AMThe notorious no-show David Carson has done it again. Despite being the winner of nearly 200 top design awards, designer of the infamous RayGun magazine, and a client list that would make any designer drool, it’s no secret that when you hire or ask the famous Carson to come speak, there’s a good chance he just might never show up.

I took out a subscription a while ago. Having seen that preview makes me happy I did. Looks like an interesting exercise in style, and I think it sits nicely between magazine and design object.
