Hello

and posts your thoughts?Work that is good or bad? Im looking to seek full time work next year after a few years freelancing, anything here going to hold me back?
Thanks in advance - Im ready... be as critical as you can!

you didn't get the memo re. holding poster.
- akrok0
too many apple screens.

oh.. i guess this 'holding poster' style is out... looked cool when I grabbed it from go-media a couple of years ago! thanks :)

I like your work, but your website does not showcase your design skills or folio that well. You are better off using a C A R G O Collective.com theme or www.indexhibit.org theme.

What ever you decide to do, don't use this theme/template!
http://supermedium.com aka http://themeforest.net/theme_pre…

looks alittle shifted... in my google chrome... top header type and logo don't really align center with the content below...
loose the white background when you click on the projects.
clean up some of those breaks on the type...
but the work looks pretty good once a better way of displaying it is figured out...

Do you really think that the use of mac screens to display a website, ux or online design is dated, or cliched? The intent is to aid in displaying the artwork in its natural setting, to give the art context rather than to just stick up a screen grab of the site.
- Put it in a browser, mang. If you want context, but let the design speak for itself, like this: http://portfolio.tof…Andrew_D
- I find it distracting and you're losing detail in your design scaling it down. I dunno, that's my two cents. Oh and it's dated. ;-)Andrew_D
- ...dated. ;-)Andrew_D
- its VERY distracting.CanHasQBN
- Wow good feedback guys! thanks!itsricky
- especially for business peeps who would probably use PCs anyway.Amicus
- To me it says: Please admire this beautiful piece of hardware that happens to contain something I designedacrossthesea

Out of curiosity, is this folio just for you, or is it an agency site? If it's just you, why are you speaking in the third person? ('View our latest work below ...')
- If it's just you and you're looking for full-time work, ditch the 3rd person voice.Continuity
- @Continuity: That would be the 1st person plural. The 3rd person is he, she or it.asinomasimp1e
- @itsricky : Your domain name and page title indicate you are one person, you shouldn't be using the plural.asinomasimp1e
- Ah yes, you're quite right, there. I stand corrected.Continuity

When viewing a single project page, the only way back to home page is clicking on the logo on top. You could provide a more intuitive way of navigating back and forth and also a possibility of a "horizontal" project to project navigation.

In the "Where to go from here?" links you should remove the "Other work for * " part since two of the (only) projects I checked where single projects.

Good, to the point, nice layout.
What bothers me is the "green site" claim. By the time you click on the link and try to find out what makes the site green friendly and wonder what kind of regulations run "green sites" the interest in the work itself is gone...
Just an advice, think about how much that "green site" button is really helping you, or not.
I come from a line of work where a lot of people have started to question of what does it mean when someone claims to be green, and to what extent is that really true.

Way too many words, too distracting. You come off looking full of hot air. No need to explain everything.

also can we stop calling it a 'folio'?
maybe 'fuckinfolio'..or 'roliofolio', or good old 'portfolio'.
