Lol, I have made almost the exact same logo once...

please don't say "homage"

so, to clarify, this is not a logo at all yet, this was a sketch sent along with a bunch of other sketches sent to the client for feedback.
The project, which I can't name yet, has the Acronymn "OO" and it's a platform for concert performers to get virtual feedback while practicing.
So working with double-"O" concepts alongside notions of music, scale and interaction, I came up with something similar to JMB's poster and I decided to do a little homage. If I had been thinking clearer, I probably should have cut it from the sketches. Sketches were sent, and I just heard back that they really like this concept...
I got back to them saying it was inspired by a famous poster and that maybe we shouldn't use it. But given the context, I was wondering if it could be read as an homage, rather than a rip...

- Someone took a chunk out of the copyright symbol and called it their own.ETM

Loki could please explain the context of the "C" and the inner rings? Why (4) rings opposed to 3 or 5? It is a little bit challenging to constructively crit your logo without any context to your concept..

if you're concerned, ditch it and do other work.

more opinions please?
- LOKi0
no, it's not that, I have a bunch of different directions. It's just that I was in a rush and sent them process work before doing a real edit. And they liked this one...

Do your best job and move on.

You really can't think of anything else to symbolize music education.
- LOKi0
yeah, figured, fuck... it was included in sketches I sent to the client. And they really dig it... stoopid me.

If your project isn't as big as seagate or JMB - it doesn't matter. When you grow - change.
