One of three things...pick which is least likely
1) You've got a ghost
2) You've got something in your head...probably a tumor
3) You're making it up to get attention
no charge.

Marbles rolling and bouncing is a pretty common thing from reported haunted areas believe it or not. Could just be boards or something.

Nope not making it up. The really crazy thing is that I just moved into this place (Oct) and I heard the same sound from my roof in the last place i was in too. I had neighbors above me there so I didn't think much of it.

this is weird....
i hear this shit in my apartment all the time. they don't roll much though. it's more like i hear them bounce a couple times then a short rolling noise.
i wonder if it's the pipes or something?

1) your previous neighbors are clever and tenacious pranksters
2) you're hearing a sound but your brain is thinking it's anotherfa... fa... fa...
