splash page and the blog.
the only design education i've had was a typography class at a community college. self taught mostly everything so i'm pretty sure theres alot of flaws in my design.
thanks

The home page hasn't the same layout nor have the same menu as the other pages, and I don't see any good reason for it. This is disturbing.
When in the sections, HOME doesn't bring you to the first page but to the blog.Having crawled all the pages, I still don't know what this website is about.. is it a clothing company ? I say it because there is a range of tees in the very dark background, but otherwise, it's not clear enough, ... not good for search engines either
Location, misses a proper address written in txt/html, so you cant copy it. anyway google map is still the bes you can embed it and change the colors to fit your website, if you google it there are online apps that will generate proper embed code.
appart the clean font, which is not a very special one, I don't find anything really appealing in the design. so I don't know what I have to look at ... need to put attention to something..
I don't know what you are trying to say other than thats a very dark brand...have fun .

I quite like the simple look of the front page but it tells me nothing about what the product is.
Little note on possibly improving the left nav - When I scroll down the links I don't like that the border-right doesn't form a solid line. It just doesn't move well.
li a {
border-right:10px solid rgba(255,255,255, 0.05);
display:block;
list-style-type:none;
overflow:hidden;
padding-right:20px;
width:330px;
-webkit-transition: 0.3s linear all;
}li a:hover {
border-right:10px solid rgba(255,255,255,1);
}and remove the 'a:hover' css. Not perfect but giving the list items a set width to keep the border-right neat improves the look, in my opinion of course...

first thing I noticed.... sans serif font as the header, and a serif font for everything else. I say keep it sans serif all the way.

It doesn't exactly engage from the get-go.

Home page could use improvement but the blog page is all over the place. Give it some structure and make it easier to read.

I am not sure if you thought about your typeface. your logo Commissary doesn't fit the san serif or the serif you are using on the site.

The funnest part of a crit is reading one, then looking at the site from the crit giver.
