(film) camera suggestion

Hello all,
I'm looking for a pocketable film camera that has a decently long lens. I currently use an olympus stylus epic, which is great, but it has a 35mm f2.8 lens that isn't the best when I want to take pictures of someone's face - it is too wide. Can anyone suggest a camera with similar dimensions that has maybe a 50mm, or even an 80mm lens? something lightweight would be nice.

u can always get one with a zoom lens. It's hard to find a fixed focal p&s with a standard lens and up.

- hm, thanks for the suggestion. $250 used on ebay, f6.5@70mm is nasty but this is the only viable candidate so farbigtrick

Yashica T4 zoom is also nice. If you don't mind the Terry Richardson connection...lol

hmmm, am now looking at a leica z2x:
the lens is slightly faster than the t4's (f3.5-f7.6 as opposed to the yashica's f4-f8) and it's half the price on ebay.

^^^ yep.
The epic zoom isn't too bad. lens isn't as sharp as the regular epic but the autofocus is actually more reliable. You'll get fewer shots with missed focus. Just watch out for the weird flare in the corners of some shots.

A Fuji Natura might suit you.. pricey import though.

Hipsters use Micro 4/3rds. Get a GF1 if you're an "all black" kind of hipster or an EP1 if you're a "vintage" kind of hipster.

The real question (assuming you didn't read my earlier post and learn that hipsters use m4/3 not film) is what film are you going to use? Got boxes of Ektachrome you've been hiding mmm?
