Applications Jumping in Front

This has been something that's interrupted my workflow and has grated on my nerves for some time, so I thought to pick the brains of the QBN masses for a solution.
Here's a scenario:
I've got Indesign open and decide I need to open Photoshop. I launch Photoshop and go back to indesign to continue working during the painful load time. After Photoshop has done loading, it pops in front of whatever I was doing and cuts out my typing, gets in the way of my mouse, etc. Annoying.
This, of course, isn't relegated to only Adobe apps. It happens with every bloody app out there, it seems. If a PDF is being generated, even that pops in front when it's done loading.
Is there anything that can be done to stop this?

first world problems.

Nope. Just let it load. And yes, this is a first world problem...
- Absolutely it is, but that doesn't take away from the fact that the experience can be improved.Gucci

- I'm using a mac...Gucci
- Mine doesn't do that on the Mac, but it does on the PC. It's one of the differences I love.doublespaced

u needs a faster computer if you have time to go accomplish other tasks while something is loading. I think the computer assumes that when you initiate the launch of something it's because you want to use it, not use it later..
- just playin devils advocate cuz yes that shit happens to me to. but really.. its like a 3 second annoyance.oddslob

hide the app after you initiate task, it'll just bounce in dock once when done.
