Are you using Safari for Mac? Open the YouTube page. Then in the Safari application bar click Window > Activity to view the transfer activity for the websites you current have open. Find the title of your YouTube page in the transfer window. Below it you should see a bunch of URLs and file sizes indicating transfer activity for that page. The URL with the largest file size is most likely the video file.
Simply double-click that URL right there in the Activity window. You should notice a file called "videoplayback.flv" begins to download in your Download window. That's your video. It will be in your Downloads folder. You might want to rename it.
Try some variations on this theme to see if you can get the HD version or even the MP4 of the video (if available.) Cheers.
- doesn't work just opens the video in a new windowHAYZ1LLA
