  What I realized while watching this first episode is this show is total shit compared to Boardwalk Empire. Those are the 2 shows I watch right now.

  I like Walking Dead, but its not close to Boardwalk on any level. Yes HBO shows have much higher budgets, but there is so much more that happens in every episode of Boardwalk than youll find in 5 WD episodes. The show is so slow with progress and subplots. Ill bet they spend this entire season at that prison.

  Totally agree. Can't even compare to Boardwalk.

  Plus HBO doesn't have annoying commercials every 5 mins. Walking Dead is a commercial for Hyunday. They drive a shiny new Hyundai around in a zombie apocalypse and then during the commercials, they show the same car with an arrow pointing to it saying "You could win this car!". How retarded is that? I'm done with this shit.

  An AMC show about zombies based on a comic, and an HBO show about 1920's gangsters loosely inspired by history.

  After reading through all of the comics I can't say there is much the show will do for me. Now I am just overly critical of the plot holes and character development since the comic did it so much better.

  But still... it's entertaining television. I'll give it that.
