CS5 Font Issues

Noticing when I open CS4 photoshop files in CS5 that the kerning is all out of whack. There is definitely inconsistent spacing between letters. For example... I have some buttons that have 11pt Arial with 20px gutters on each side. In CS5, the text increases in width.
Anyone else have issues like this? Any way to resolve?

The font has anti-aliasing method set to "none" to signify a we/live font in the comps. So... CS4 and CS5 are handling the letter spacing differently. In CS4 the letters are consistently 1px apart where, in CS5, letters fluctuated from 1-2px apart... which is making the lines of text longer.

I've not noticed this issue, but there are a lot of bugs in Photoshop CS5... hopefully they're addressed in future updates.

stop making shitty pixel text, it's 2010 FFS

I was going to say turn Fractional Widths off, but looks like the problem is still there, only slightly less profusely.

I can't believe Adobe... As far as I'm concerned, shit like that shouldn't happen, because it should never be released with errors like that. We all pay a fuck load for a piece of software, and it doesn't even work as well as CS3 did.
Illustrator doesn't work as well as CS3.
Action droplets don't work in Photoshop CS4 on Snow LeopardCOME ON ADOBE SORT YOUR SHIT OUT!...unless you're just making it shit on purpose so that Microsoft buy it to fit in with the rest of their poop programs.

As far as CS4 or CS5 errors go this is pretty small time. During Fireworks CS4 you could open a document and have all the text in it 10 pixels below where it was placed when you saved it. Was a really fucking common problem too.
Fixed it with CS5 of course $$$$$$$$$$
Any company that ships with bugs like that doesn't deserve the amount they are asking.

Totally agree... Those bugs are ones I just had to deal with every single god-dang day. Another was that in full screen mode in Photoshop the cursor would be about 15px below where it clicked, until you went back out and in full screen again.
They should start to give pre-release versions out to people who have the previous versions for them to bug-check. They're doing that with Newtek's Lightwave and version 10. As soon as something cool gets put in , they send it out for the community to double-check everything.
