^ this does look like a fun experience. it's a real pain in the butt to install tho.
XNA 3.1, .NET 3.5, and Direct9.0c redistributable is needed and that isn't even including the game files. XNA & .net might mess with your internal development environment since it is tricky business co-running .net builds.

Well that's a bit random..
“In August 2011 Ray Cokes was part of a prank in which he was apparently kidnapped. The kidnapper posted a comment on the Minecraft branch of Reddit. The post stated that he was the godson of Ray Cokes and that he was to kill Ray Cokes if was not to get his "Minecraft Cape". Before the kidnapping occurred the phrase "Give me Ray Cokes" was shown on Minecraft.”

(please don't ask why I was on the Ray Cokes wiki page)

I was playing the 9.? Beta Prerelease right up until skyrim happened. I imagine I'll return to it. The shit part is that I had a world that I was pretty happy with, now I have to start al that over.
Minecraft is a spectacular way to bide my time on the train.

Downloaded the v1 release for my MacBook and it's quality, spending time at the moment farming pigs, cows and chickens, and building up a NPC village I found, I'm their king. I kill one of them every now and again in view of others just to keep them on their toes.
Downloaded the iPhone Lite version and I find it fiddly and boring, when updates are added I might give it another go, but there is no way I'm spending a fiver on it at the moment.
