Somewhere between on-time and thirty minutes late. Freelancer billing hourly in a cavernous office though, so odds are in my favor.

My first job was corporate and I had the worst boss. He had a morning meeting everyday at 8am, just to make sure I was in. You had to have everything up, email, ready to go by then or he would write you up. One time I came in a few minutes late and told him I got a speeding ticket trying to be there on time. He starts roaring with laughter. That guy was the worst manager in so many ways.

Work late.

I get to manage my own hours, sometimes I go in at 9:00am sometimes at 11:00am depending if I have to meet someone.
I work part-time at a print shop marketing department.

Some times I don't even come in if there are no meetings and I can work from home.

5-10 minutes late usually.
Getting there and leaving.
So it balances out.
Of course when I am early, there's a problem with the subway and I get here extra late.

yea I range from 5min. late to 30min late. Just cant seem to make it in on time or at an earlier time. I usually stay late though and I normally don't take an hour lunch.
Thank you for not making me feel like the only one that cant make it in on time. :]

arrive ~10 min early (depending on the subway I catch).
leave anywhere from 10-30 min late depending on where I reach a stopping point.

Generally early or on time - depends on if the express train comes before the local.

I don't really have a schedule but if I were to pretend based on how I work now i'd be very late all the time but stay really late anyway. I think if I had a boss he would just put me on another schedule that starts later in the day.

I guess it's a creative problem. I don't think creative people should be judged on that anyway. Unless you have to meet a client. I was thinking, you hired me for my experience and skills, not for my ability to be here at an exact time everyday.

I have a 30 minute span but I am never late. I don't think late exists here.

earlier than everyone else by a huge margin. I also get the hell out of there before everyone else by that same huge margin...

I wake up, get coffee in my kitchen and clock in. Commuting every day in LA traffic was too much stress.

I don't know how anyone can get to work early in the morning. Do you go to bed at like 9pm? I like to stay up and relax at night.

40 minutes late, at best. Leave on time, but work when I get home until I give up or just simply get bored. Doing a bit of work in the evenings or weekends generally makes others much more relaxed about the time you start and finish... and even the number of days you take off.
