You can convert ppt to dvd using Presentation to Video Converter
http://geovid.com/Presentation_t…
and it's nice prog and really simple.

The software Camtasia will record powerpoint and save it to a movie file, that can then be converted to anything you need. If the animations are true powerpoint animations (not gifs - but elements moving about in powerpoint animation) doing it this way 'might' save you some time. You'll need to run this process on a robust computer that can handle something like this though. Best of luck!

any converting you do will most likel;y end in a severe loss of quality and involve a massive amount of trial and error. Best bet is to gather all the elements and rebuild from scratch. Unless it's just fancy client presentation or something low-end, in which case it might be worth a try.

How about to convert your powerpoint to flash: http://www.sameshow.com/powerpoi…

I think the simple answer (but not fun to deliver to your boss) is that the original animation isn't compatible w/Flash... ... there simply is no easy way to export/import it and maintain the quality - whatever route you go... it will take near the same time as if you were building from scratch.
- that's how it will end most probably. more time is the price for a new conglomerated team.uan

besides the usual rants, I'm sure there's a way to frame-by-frame it, but that WILL give you a large file, so you may soon be hearing over and over again something like "but it was so much faster in powerpoint"

I googled 'powerpoint animations' and it looks like it is mostly just animated gifs. You can probably copy and drop it into photoshop or ae or something like that.
Anyway, you can probably take it from here chief.

well, thanks:) exactly how I reacted when I heard it.:)
the reason is, someone bought this powerpoint animation from some stock material site and some other one presented it to the client. so now I should figure out how to bring it into flash.
I thought maybe there is a secret import ppt file somewhere in flash.

why in the world would you ever want to do such a thing! Like ETM says....
It's like saying, how can I take some simple hand drawn animation and bring into Maya - what's the point?
- PonyBoy0
export all assets as pngs... ... import to the timeline in flash... convert to movieclips... ... start animating
- Naygon0
Yikes.. good luck with that.
