I like the original posted picture. A supreme being reaching through a hole in the universe. Maybe the universe is just a chemical experiment and we are nothing but a pet or a science project. Looks like a cool concept. Tinfoil hat worthy?

Interesting. I need to go back and look at the whole project now - I'll admit my interest in NIN kind of trailed off around that time.
More importantly, almost everything HBO makes is quality, so any kind of apocalyptic sci fi would almost certainly be awesome.

I always like the concepts, stories, and websites regarding Year Zero. The music was pretty weak but for 2-3 tracks.

interesting
"George Orwell believed that Aldous Huxley's Brave New World (1932) must be partly derived from We.[4] However, in a 1962 letter to Christopher Collins, Huxley says that he wrote Brave New World as a reaction to H.G. Wells' utopias long before he had heard of We.[5] According to We translator Natasha Randall, Orwell believed that Huxley was lying.[6] Kurt Vonnegut said that in writing Player Piano (1952) he "cheerfully ripped off the plot of Brave New World, whose plot had been cheerfully ripped off from Yevgeny Zamyatin's We."[7]"

I was under the impression this was a total no go based on his digg interview
- this article is from two days ago, i guess it's moving forwardscarabin
- the digg interview was a couple years ago. maybe he meant it was just on hiatus or somethingDodecahedron
- he said something salong the lines of "I spoke too soon on the HBO series, HBO isn't that interested anymore, the do this with lots of series"Dodecahedron
- "they do this with a lot of productions"Dodecahedron
