its pretty clever how its done, a lot more fun than doing it with software.
- and this could be done with any moving screen not just an ipadDodecahedron

I don't like the iPad implementation .. it only works on long exposure - you can't view the result live.
It seems pretty pointless, you could easily achieve the same in post .. what's the benefit to using an iPad??

anyone seen this done with a single flashing band of LEDs where you stare at it and when you move your head you can read what it says.
Sony had some huge LEDs doing this at their E3 booth years ago. It was pretty trippy and kind of subliminal.
