I can't stand these tenants in NYC, that take advantage of the eviction process by not paying rent. This is another issue i've dealt with in the past. Low lifes!

I'm going to sneak into the apt, and stab her with a needle that has aids.

Since she's moving out at the end of the month, I said the other option is for the landlord to take over the account. He's talking to her now, and will call me back.
- This was your best bet. Once he is truly involved he will work it out ASAP********

The landlord says he has her deposit, and I'll be reimbursed.

Has anyone been to small claims court before?
Here's the scenario.
Two months ago, I move out of a roommate situation. The landlord said the new tenant asked about internet service. I call Time Warner, and they say the new tenant can fill out a internet transfer form.
A month goes by, she didn't fill out the form. I call Time Warner, and they say there's no note of a transfer.
Second month, and I get billed again and Time Warner says the took care of it.
Now I see a bill of $218 where she ordered cable tv.
I meet this bitch at Time Warner to do the account transfer, and Time Warner says they need a notarized letter from the landlord this time.
Now i've racked up a bill of $218, plus, 19.99 and $8, and now see a new bill of r $89.
This bitch says she can't meet at Time Warner until next week. I told her to give my money by tomorrow or I will take her to small claims court.
I have printouts of all my bills. I called the landlord, and he seems to be frustrated with this tenant as well. Could be another squatter.
Has anyone been to small claims court? What's the whole process like? I want to get my money back, and make this manipulative bitch pay and suffer.
