I am looking to do a small run on newsprint (I want it to look and feel as similar to a real newspaper as possible..
The run will be about 500 and I am hoping it will 9 panels with each panel at 11x11 inches - it is going to be an insert for a record.
Anyone know where to get this? (In the US)

There was that place in UK who ships to US.

Okay I called about 20 different people - the only option I have is still the company in the UK but I am looking for something cheaper (that will cost me about a grand for 500 copies).
Hence - BUMP.
- sell it for 3 dollars each then and make profitmirrorball

Check Linco. I understand that a number of NYC comic book self publishers use them for newsprint. I sourced them as an alt to Newspaper club. I haven't used them yet.
I get that it's not Mass. but the shipping might be better than the UK.

You could always try the local newspapers... If they print themselves they might also print your job and if they don't they can put you onto their printer.

Jakprints now prints comic books, 500 will cost you
around 1000 dollars.
you can tear off the outside cover, and there you go.

newspaper presses don't wanna fck around with small quantities, they're setup for massive runs, hence the cheap paper. you're paying a premium for booking the minimum press time, 500 pcs is the same as 10000 in their books.
- the locals don't always work that way.... especially if you are talking small town weeklies etc.Amicus
