Let's face it, all this branded site shit sucks. There's really no way to make it cool
Companies should change to just offering people stuff directly (music, movies, porn) with a giant Burger King logo in the corner of the screen
- fooler20
why did they cut off the logo like that, looks very phallic..

The Web is Dead:
- Mattb0
^^
"Over the past few years, one of the most important shifts in the digital world has been the move from the wide-open Web to semiclosed platforms that use the Internet for transport but not the browser for display."

You retards are complaining that the web is dead because an advertising company made a website about breath mints.
- Mattb0
the web is dead because the majority of internet traffic is now going to closed platforms like facebook, mobile apps, youtube, etc. rather than traditional, open websites. This breath mints website reflects that. The internet is alive and well but its traffic is increasingly controlled by fewer and fewer big corporations.

- you lost me at traditional, open websites, whatever the hell those are.kpl
- and really, wtf does net neutrality have to do with this?kpl
- this brand's website is now just linking to applications on closed, proprietary platforms. shows where the traffic is. users are not typing altoids.com into a browser. they're on facebook.Mattb

I got your big spaceship right here

Isn't it pretty common though, for a sweet company to lose their awesome talent when they jump off to start their own "ship". Maybe some of that happened. Also, didn't they make crazy flash sites in the past? Perhaps not as many people want a time intensive flash "experience" which could limit their radness. I also recall them having a motion graphics reel at one time too... I wonder if they still do a bit of that.
