I wonder how secure communication would be between readers and him or his moderators.

Every time this thread pops up, I am really shocked at how little coverage this gets in the US.

good point dmullins. it's sad, it's to the point that it seems like there's no escape for so many people down there. All the low level cartel people must wake up everyday knowing that they, and their families, could be dead by the end of the day for nothing.
It's almost like there's no section of the country that is safe. I think Mexico City gets less of this type of crime/war, but all the other places are fair game from what I can tell.
- It's like Israel vs. Palestine for the western world.dMullins

They are talking to give more weapons to the mexican police, but their fame of being corrupted easy will make this obsolete.
Legalization could be step 1.
And whoever is providing the cartels with military grade equipment on this side of the border keeps getting money and no one is looking for the responsible.
- akrok0
Legalization would not help. Most of the drugs are for U.S.
- but if they legalize it, it won't be a business to bring it here anymoreMiguex
- that's the point... the US wants their drugs... ... make it legal here and we'll grow and sell our ownPonyBoy
- and who are they going to sell all their guns to if the cartels disappear?Miguex
- I just don't think it's a solution. There's still a problem.
:-)akrok - i know what you saying, M.akrok
- same thing would be IF THEY WOULD NOT SELL WEAPON THAT EASY. But they don't give a SHIT!.akrok

this blog looks like an online version of the uncensored newspapers they sell down here in the intersections. nothing new really except that its online for the world to see.
- HijoDMaite0
Just a glimpse in to what is happening 5 miles from the U.S. border. Did you notice there was no police sirens at all? They stay away on purpose.
- and it looks like there are no north american casualties ever.Miguex
- They know it brings a storm of criticism so they make it a habit to stay away from tourists. That's why there is less violence in TJ.HijoDMaite
- + 1 Hijo, I live in Culiacan, i moved here in its peek, it was nuts, but the cartel could give a shit about touristsmoldero
- their running a business, its cartel vs cartel or cartel vs military or copsmoldero

I think the difference is that the print media down there does not use names. Where as this guy does.- ah i see, they use names down here but usually after their dead (so im told, i dont read or speak spanish)moldero
- what are you doing in Culiacan man?HijoDMaite
- taking a long break, its been awesome.moldero
- American $$ goes a long way down here especially in a non tourist area like Cul.moldero
- interesting. so you and your girl or something? odd place to vacation. ok man, don't get killed you know you are in the heart of it all right?HijoDMaite
- heart of it all right?HijoDMaite
- moldero0
This will never end, its Mexican supply for American demand.
Until the US gets their (I should say our) shit together, like prioritizing family over careers then maybe we wouldn't be raising a bunch of shit huffing junkies for kids.

Sorry to bring this highly interesting story down to design shit but I was impressed by the translate toolbar. Is that custom or a Wpress thing or something?

<<< NOT GRAPHIC >>>
The two guys filming this on Thursday were dead a day after they uploaded video.
Lesson: Do not record a confrontation in your own driveway!!

"The 72 illegal immigrants killed in San Fernando, Tamaulipas, were on a truck bound for the United States when, between Saturday and Sunday, were intercepted by a convoy of mushrooms."
Those must be some bad ass mushrooms.
