Drops are almost useless. This is a miracle product, though:
I know. I suffer from this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rec…
It's worse than whatever you have going on. Trust me.

unless i absolutely have to, i stay away from pharmacy meds.
here's what works, and has been working for ages in the natural medicine field. super simple and will cleanse and kill infection if any.
works awesome for conjunctivitis, aka pink eye.boil water, make a chamomile tea. let it steep. let it cool down. once room temp, get a cotton ball and dip it in the tea, use it as an eye dropper. put as many drops as you can handle, might burn initially, but becomes very soothing very quick. clean the outside of your eye too. throw cotton ball away. repeat on other eye.
this is serious as serious can get. home remedies past down from grandmothers are sometimes the ONLY thing that works.
good luck.- chamomile tea taste delicious, so you can drink it when youre done rinsing.capn_ron

my right eye started burning over the weekend. went to see an eye doctor today. had a rusty metal splinter stuck in my cornea that had to be removed. now I am running around with an eye patch. arrrrr.

uh, there is surely a *reason* they are burning... did you get into anything recently - dust / pollen / etc?
The warm water thing is good if for some reason eye drops are making things worse.
The best thing you could probably do is to simply try not to irritate them more. Don't rub them, touch them or put anything in them. Try to make it a 1/2 hour without doing that. If they still bother you call a doctor, not QBN m.d.
