I'm about to start designing a product catalog for a cliënt. No problem you think... True! The only downside is that it's going to be around 400 pages... quite boring!
Well the product information is going to be stored in a XML file, my coworker programmer does that. All i need to do is to get it into InDesign pages. YAY!
I have no experience with XML what so ever.... I do know InDesign luckily!
How would you start?
Any tips?
Good tutorials?
Books?
Lynda?

I did some xml things in indesign for business cards a few years back - an user submitted and online form with their info, which then wrote the xml, which was then sent to prepress. Prepress merged the xml with the ID template I made and sent it to press.
I used a tutorial - similar to this one to get rolling - http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2004/08…

I never worked with XML in ID, but here's a couple resources that might come handy.
