Is there a way to change the navigation structure for the Supersized JQuery plugin so instead of back, pause and forward there are buttons or thumbs for each image?

There's a guy who describes it in the comments, but it's not pulling the next image for me. Here's what he wrote:
<code>Pay attention to settings. It’s all different from the default.
$(function(){
// Supersized settings
$.fn.supersized.options = {
startwidth: 1024,
startheight: 768,
vertical_center: 1,
slideshow: 0,
navigation: 0,
transition: 1, //0-None, 1-Fade, 2-slide top, 3-slide right, 4-slide bottom, 5-slide left
pause_hover: 0,
slide_counter: 0,
slide_captions: 0,
slide_interval: 5000
};// Apply Supersized Plugin
$(‘#supersize’).supersized();// My thumbs navigation system
$(“#thumbs > a”).click(function(){
var img = $(this).attr(“class”);
$(“#supersize”).fadeOut(‘slow’, function(){
$(this).html(”).resizenow().fade...
});
});});
It’s working incredibly well, and I don’t have any limitation regards number of images. They are loaded as thumbs are clicked, so you can use as much as you wish.</code>

Anyone? This is somewhat a time-sensitive issue for a client.

Personally I would use an image gallery and a fullscreen image. looks like a bit of a hack about trying to get this to work.
ask him for a demo page.
