  I totally see what your saying dude. With kung fu, there are so many styles you get some more performance / showy (wushu) styles that arent really good combat styles.

  The other main problem with kung fu, it was sooo popular and sooo famous you get a lot of complete idiots pretending to teach good kung fu, when its complete bullshit or watered down bad technique.

  Ive done short stick mantis training.
