M?
Where you buying the ring from? WalMart?

So I found out she was an M. We were shopping, I was like 'hey, let's try on some rings". It did massively give the game away, but I don't mind. Woooo.

DId you ever get your answer?
Different manufactures have slightly different sizes.
Also, if you are thinking about getting a diamond band that wraps around all the way, make sure you get half or one size bigger as girls get fatter with age and ring wont fit anymore. Those rings can not be resized.

Erm, two of my very good friends are jewelers and another is a diamond merchant - ask me tomorrow :)
Amazing news dude :)

Congrats matey! I had to buy a 'token' ring to propose with and then we went shopping together for the actual ring.
Not ideal, but it was one way of not spending a small fortune on the wrong size/style ring.
Just my two pence :-)
Good luck!

I went through every measure possible to get the right ring/size but it still ended up being too big. Roll of the dice mate.
Best bet is to steal a ring that is the right size for her ring finger, take it to a jeweler, have them measure, and then return the ring before she notices.
The issue I ran into was the STYLE of ring. Some rings are tagged as one size but fit larger/smaller because of the STYLE - thick band vs. thin band or open band vs. closed (complete circle). Open bands will feel larger on the hand, thus needing a smaller than normal size.
Good luck.
