I'm gonna give it a chance, but as someone mentioned, something is wrong with the trailer, maybe they are giving too much away. Looks immature, the trailer that is. It gives you that impression that the whole movie is the trailer.
- the trailers shown thus far dont really have the main story plot.. its just the sub plot you see..e-pill

love Emily Browning. Looks pretty hot as a blonde.

looks exciting, but honestly, i hate it when movies put in hot chicks. they can't act, and they take me out of the zone. i start focusing on how awful their acting is, how perfect they always appear to be on screen (regardless of how many fights they get into), and knowing that it's all purely a marketing choice.
Put in some seriously talented actresses and actors, and suddenly I'm in the zone, and focused on how awesome the story and world are.

you know im down.. i havent seen a good movie featuring giant mechas in a really long time.. i wonder if most people know what the movie is really about though as the trailers all feature something different than the main plot.. gotta love comics i guess.. such chaos randomness possibilities.. i love it!!

Early reviews are all in agreement, this movie is awful.
“Zack Snyder must have known in preproduction that his greasy collection of near-rape fantasies and violent revenge scenarios disguised as a female-empowerment fairy tale wasn’t going to satisfy anyone but himself. [...] A salacious mess, 0 stars.” -Michael Phillips, Chicago Trib

This write-up isn't helping it much...
Close your eyes. Open your mind. You will be unprepared. "Sucker Punch" is an epic action fantasy that takes us into the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality. Unrestrained by the boundaries of time and place, she is free to go where her mind takes her, and her incredible adventures blur the lines between what's real and what is imaginary. She has been locked away against her will, but Babydoll (Emily Browning) has not lost her will to survive. Determined to fight for her freedom, she urges four other young girls--the outspoken Rocket (Jena Malone), the street-smart Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens), the fiercely loyal Amber (Jamie Chung) and the reluctant Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish)--to band together and try to escape their terrible fate at the hands of their captors, Blue (Oscar Isaac), Madam Gorski (Carla Gugino) and the High Roller (Jon Hamm). Led by Babydoll, the girls engage in fantastical warfare against everything from samurais to serpents, with a virtual arsenal at their disposal. Together, they must decide what they are willing to sacrifice in order to stay alive. But with the help of a Wise Man (Scott Glenn), their unbelievable journey--if they succeed--will set them free.
