just don't live in the 'loin

I highly recommend the Richmond and Sunset districts. You have easy access to GG Park and are removed from a lot of the nastiness of downtown SF. Getting to and from the center of the city might take a little while on the bus, but I think it's worth it especially for a real neighborhood, the beach and the views.

    • oh, and you can rent an entire Victorian (house) for the price of a nice apt in other 'hoodsmonospaced1/5
