Although I see that new ones have since been added that I didn't create... they look far less considered / tacky. Cropping them nicely and adding something as stupid as a drop shadow goes a long way.

I created these clippings for the 'in the news' album of Clek, Inc.'s facebook profile. I did pretty much the same thing you are being asked to do. Damage control is about all you can do. Will probably need to compensate for contrast / saturation.
- thats a nice way to present. I always liked taking pics of mag ads because you can get cool angles.FredMcWoozy

What if you turn the 'scans' into icons like award symbols. Then if you click on the award the article pops up?
Does it have to be a scan. Are any of these written online?
- ooo they're actually ads not write ups?FredMcWoozy
- All scans. Ended up touching up and putting into a grid. Luckily they sent them through hi-res so had a bit to play with.inteliboy

Clients are normally really proud of these if they're a small enough business that it matters - do as good a job as you can..Never seen anything knockout though, sorry.

I've been asked to add magazine/newspaper cutouts to a website... all these inconsistent and crappy scans that they've been featured in (fashion label). It's amateur hour imo, though the client doesn't care.
Anyone come across a good example of this?
