Thanks everybody! as usual it seems that everyone leans toward a different comp. But the general consensus seems to be 2 or 3... Personally though, I'm thinking 2 (but more ferocious of an animal) or 4 have more of a construction feel though... I'm gonna make some tweaks and repost for a second round.
Thanks Again!

He is a one-man contractor and I believe that for his household prospects it is a smart idea to stick to friendly animals, not make it too intimidating by showing panther teeth and claws.
I advise you against making more ferocious animals.
Usually those companies have a "clipart" friendly dude holding a toy hammer, I would keep your animals friendly as well.- good point - want to stay friendly and trustworthyyeeblazer

#2, but:
a) clean up the A's in Animal, I feel like I should be seeing something knocked out there, but obviously it's just the odd cut
b) change the font for construction
c) align construction so the 'u' forms the fox's snout

N° 2 looks best to me.
It's the strongest id with the most subtlety.Like some previous guys said just work on some other type variations for this route and it could work very nicely with the right typeface.
