I'm thinking about dropping Snow Leopard onto my work Mac Pro.
Anyone got an horror stories or tales of incompatibility with CS3 on OS 10.6?
Thanks.

Think the latest update due this week or so actually fixes a lot of things with it.
But I'd use caution because Adobe are COMPLETE AND UTTER CUNTS about supporting previous versions of their software.

Yeah I think 10.6.4 is due pretty soon... I'm rocking Snow Leopard at home on my MacBook with CS3 and don't have any problems but I don't really use it as extensively as I do at work so I'm a little cautious.

I use CS3 and 10.6.3. No problems here.

Pirate it first. Then consider buying.

i was just upgraded at work to 10.6 and cs4. still using cs3 on my current projects and haven't noticed any issues that i can attribute directly to cs3, just odd stuff like mouse not responding to clicks, weird hangs while accessing files on our servers. mainly using AE, Illy.

CS3 and 10.6.3 here. Only real issue is Illustrator will crash upon opening, but a quick reopen solves the problem. Launches fine, but generally happens when opening a non-localized file. Odd. Herm.

Thanks guys... I took the plunge, everything seems ok so far.
Some fonts are a bit messed, but I'm hoping that will just 'sort itself out' like these things often do.
CS3 is bangin', no problems there. Office 2004 works too (via Rosetta - no surprise there).

I forgot to tell you... 10.6.3 doesn't agree with FontExplorer Pro. After a restart, activated fonts are visible to Adobe apps, but not to all system apps. If you don't see a font ie in Text Edit, you need to deactivate it and activate again. Until next restart, that is :)
No such problems in 10.6.2

I'm running 10.5 - is there really much point in upgrading to 10.6?
