I have a navigation INTRObtn that animates and has this:
on (release) {
_root.gotoAndPlay("INTRO");
}the frameINTRO plays a MC in single frame which has this within it at the last frame:
_root.gotoAndPlay("EXPERTS")
//EXPERT frame is next frame after INTRO//my issue is if I keep hitting the INTRObtn it jumps to&from INTRO and EXPERT frame. How do I have it only repeat the INTRO. I thought maybe a stop(); before the code:
_root.gotoAndPlay("EXPERTS")
//but that doesn't work//

Is this why Steve Job hates Flash. Not that he codes either.

Change it to _root.gotoAndStop(label)

are you actually playing back the main timeline w/the label?... or is there a movieclip on the timeline that houses the intro?...
... if the latter is the case - you want to use _root.gotoAndStop("LABEL")...

From main timeline I select the INTROmc. the INTRO btn on different layer but on maintimeline.
found it strange that:
gotoAndPLAY("INTRO") didn't work.
Needed _root. before it.

I think my issue is, INTRO animation doesn't have a stop at the end just the _root.gotoAndPlay("_next framelabel_")
which is why its jumping btwn the two.
You guys are suggesting I put:
_root.gotoAndStop("LABEL")
where?? on the Btn or end of INTRO animation??
