All I hear from Israelis is excuses. You have a population in decline but still make claims on land that is not yours to begin with. encroiching on an already over populated palistine. You think you'd be a bit more sympathetic given your recent history
- Given their longer history however...Lillebo
- I'd like to know what make Australia a land that is 'yours'. Unless of course you are of Aboriginal decent.added_valium
- This very same story has been unfolding for decades in a part of Serbia known as Kosovo ...Continuity
- I'm Irish so nice try, but again there you are with the excuses instead of debate. A deep rooted sense of guilt I'd saytoe_knee
- I wasn't making an excuse. Was trying to debate, but you are too busy making your pointadded_valium
- no you are just using the 'they do it so why can't we'toe_knee
- "Given their longer history however..." I'm fairly sure my history is just as long as anyone else's.detritus

Of course it isn't right. If a country decides to be a member of the UN, then it needs to agree to play by the rules.

- WHat if we ship all the vuvuzelas to Gaza and have them blow them all day long?TheBlueOne

- No, my point was not your point. I got your point. You missed mine utterly.TheBlueOne
- ..and I'd say primary video isn't "second hand accounts"TheBlueOne
- ..besides, didn't the US go to war with Iraq on 2nd hand accounts? Good enough for the US, good enuff for me.TheBlueOne
- the video is just one piece of the puzzlesequoia
- So do you always have to be personally present to have an opinion about anything?ukit

business as usual
June 1 (Reuters) - Turkey's Defence Minister Vecdi Gonul said on Tuesday a diplomatic crisis with Israel after the Jewish state stormed a Turkish-backed aid convoy will not affect the planned delivery of Israel-made Heron drones to Turkey.

At the end of the day, what kind of resolution are you going to have without a deal (peace settlement) with the Palestinians?
Actions like this are pushing that further and further away.
- The only way this will truly resolve itself is if Israel is left to its own devices, and not have other countries shielding it all the time.Continuity

I'm really unclear why the US constantly abstain or block UN moves to impel Israel to do anything of substance.
I can accept that in this case the US may be pushing a wider and longer view on the peace talks than Turkey is.
- Depends on who you're talking to. Some would say it's because the Jews in the US have control of government, media and business.Continuity
- ... business.Continuity
- I'm of the opinion that it's because being friends with Israel gives the US a pied-à-terre in the Middle East and, therefore, ready access to oil.Continuity

This whole Israeli Zionist ideology is made possible by the U.S. and controlling monetary interests... it's a complete setup of the american people.. for us to support such an extremist religious ideology at the expense of our liberty.. its such a contradiction that it makes me sick.. and this whole 'american dream' ideology of good will is the biggest joke i've ever seen.. instead of being wise consequentialists who lead by example, americans are fucking immoral stupid deontologists!
