dear QBN.
I'm in the market for some wireless audio gear and i'm finding the interweb a bit confusing.I've got 2 amps in different rooms.
then on the coffee table I have a laptop or ipod or whatever.so from 1 mini jack to 2 set's of RCA's without wires. What do i need?

an fm receiver and itrip?

This was repeated many times here and there was always only one conclusive answer: AirTunes over Airport Express. Buy from Apple refurb store, they're cheaper there.
There are bluetooth solutions, but general consensus is they suck.
Not sure about streaming from iPod without the laptop. There might be an app for the touch/iPhone/iPad.

This looks legit. $30
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?…probably fine to install,

So you'd like to stream from one audio set to another? Airport is no good for this, only works with iTunes.

i was imagining something really simple would exisit. mini jack to transmitter. receiver to minijack/RCA
I guess i could put an FM tuner on each AMP, but that kinda seems untidy,.

If you can avoid using an fm transmitter i would. I always feel like you lose audio quality, even on some of the good ones, but that could just be me.
Check these systems out, they are pricy, but do exactly what you are looking for.

Just throwing this thing in the mix:

Streams video besides your music. Just about any format.
...and for music you even got optical out. However for 2 amps I suppose you either have to split the out cable from that thing or link one amp to the other.
