Hi guys, whats the difference between:
<meta name = "viewport" content = "width = device-width">
and
<meta name = "viewport" content = "width = 380px">
Would there be a reason to use a specific pixel width if device-width does it for you?
Cheers

Wait, im confused... does device width just make it 320 or 480 depending on the orientation... where as a specific pixel width can be anything based on the site?
- pretty sure you're on the riht path here, specific widths can be helpful if you are checking for orientation first...lNONEIS

Just read it again... so it seems that setting 'device-width' is used more for apps? whereas setting pixels is better for web sites?

Most sites i do i around 800 wide, so setting 'device-width' wouldnt be ideal as it would make it just 320 or 480? is that right? fuck sake... i have no idea why i cant get this!

set it to match whatever you're trying to display. if your site is 800, set it to 800.
