hmm at the mo I have it as a gradient from one tint of the pantone to another tint of the ssame pantone. How do you set as halftone?
- by tint i meant percentace. so 100% to 0%Projectile

That saved PDF doesn't have embeeded/outlined fonts, and features very fine outline details (again, around the problemmatic central 'go') that are risky with spot colours

Actually, ignore me - I don't know what I'm talking about.

looks OK to me. Open it in Acrobat and open the Output Preview window, only PMS colors are used. Should output just fine.

ok i just got rid of the whole gradient element and it still has CMYK in it.. so I'm thinking maybe it's an exporting thing

not sure what you're talking about. Where do you see the CMYK in the file? I only see the 2 spot colors.

- AFAIK, you can't remove process inks from a PDF unless you print separations...rascuache

How are you handling the gradient in the 'go'?
That shit needs to be halftoned if you want it as spot.
