UV means that an Ultra Violet light is required to "set" the varnish onto the paper during printing. It's a quick-drying process. Yes, varnish can be tinted, matte, gloss, etc.

I think Spot UV, Spot Varnish and Spot Gloss are the same thing.
In fact, I dont know what the "U" Stands for, but I'm pretty sure the "V" is for Varnish :)

In my experience, they're the same: Spot UV Varnish.

whats the difference? Im a noob when it comes to the print world. I need one of these done for some business cards I created.
