I never bought a car before so here's a link I saw.
http://newjersey.craigslist.org/…
My sister said I need to pay a sales tax for registration, title or some ownership?
This is what the seller says:
"No im the owner of the vehicle i jus got the inspection done today and it passed no prob u get title registration with plates no tax no registrations fees for 3800 bro im loosing 1350 dollars for that price"

might want to do a carfax to find out the details about the car.

Don't.

what's the VIN on that car? you'll want to run a carfax report first.

How do you get a carfax report? How much?

first off, he's mentioning kelly blue book. only dealers should use that for trade-in/market values. he should use nada for a more reasonable price.
also, 93k is a lot of miles for that price. check autotrader.com and i bet you can find a better deal.
- yeah. kbb is pretty much a price to make consumers feel better when they get ripped off.bigtrickagain
- NADA, blackbook and galves are more reasonable price guides.bigtrickagain
- blackbook, yes! never heard of the other one tho.SteveJobs

kick each tyre as you walk round it like your inspecting a dog in Kruffs, you'll look like a pro!
