Get in touch if you want any help with the move, especially from an ex-pats perspective.
Funnily enough, I did the same thing as you a few years ago; couple of months here in Spring. Actually moved over off the back of that permanently a year later.

Alright Gordy! Ah, the Lock Tavern... in there only a couple of weeks ago... my face was shitted too! My pads just about to go on the books with a short-let estate agent too so if nothing comes of this thread I'll hopefully get myself sorted for mid May anyways. But thanks for message...

Hello QBN guys and girls,
I’m thinking of moving to NYC for a month or two to see if a. my transatlantic relationship will work when we’re in the same time zone and b. check-out the work front.
When:
I’m thinking mid May.What I have to offer:
Large 1 bedroom Victorian conversation flat in Islington, N7. Quiet tree lined conservation area. All usual mod cons, plus all bills included with swap, except phone and movie channel.Location:
Zone 2 underground, Caledonian Road the nearest tube station - Piccadilly Line (Just one stop from Kings Cross and Eurostar hub, plus direct line to and from Heathrow).
10 mins from central London - Soho, Oxford Circus, Covent Garden etc. 15 mins to Old St, Hoxton areas.
Located in between Islington’s Upper Street and Camden - 5 mins by bus or taxi. So, anyone out there fancy swapping flat for apartment? Or, even just to rent my pad out.
Drop me an email for more details/photos/info about me etc. Thanks for reading,
goldieboy
