  They are almost inevitable in the LCD manufacturing process. Most displays these days have at least one and each manufacturer has a different limit for acceptable dead pixels per display.

  You won't get a replacement for just 1, you would probably need over 15.

  • not true...I went through a store the other day with hundreds of LCD TVs and I didn't see any dead pixels– monospaced
