i've been going to a native american drum circle for a few years now. We always start with a semi-guided meditation, then you just get to do your own meditation, then the drumming starts. the drumming is super simple, no rhythm or beats, just a steady stream of hits. There have been times where the meditiations have been better than LSD. Its not for everyone but i endorse meditation.
