I have a FLA file with a WAV file in the library that I need to export. When I try to "Edit with..." it just gives me an error about "can't find the file on c:\documents\original_flash_guys... and if I'm reading the web correctly, export to WAV is only a Windows version of Flash feature.

Any other ways to get the audio out of the FLA in CS3 on a mac? My next attempt is to export a mov, then put into imovie or something...

I saw that and it was what I originally tried to do anyways. Adobe's own documents say "(Windows)" after mentioning exporting to Wav audio. Which is why I'm thinking this is a windows version only feature?

got it to work by exporting mov, then exporting audio from imovie.

Depending on the time it took you to do that, i've found just using AudioHijacker to do the trick for most things..

    • basically like a live recorder for your output soundneferiu
