I am going!
First time in a live fighting event, aside from high school wrestling and street & bar brawls.
Seeing GSP too... not bad at all.

Make sure you take pictures and post them here or it never happened.

That song Hardy came out to, who's the band? I was thinking stiff little fingers but not so sure.

Wiked, have fun soulfly!
Should be fun, lets hope its not a 1 minute knock out! always disappointing to ticker buyers

In fact last time i went to an event like this, i saw a girl beat a guy in a grappling match! Was awesome, got a vid of it too.

GSP fights are kinda boring. Didn;t want to see that happen to Mir. I still can't stand and don't want Brock Lesnar in this sport. Shane Carwin has some heavy hands.

highlights anyone?
- Ironmonkey0
This is not an exaggeration, Frank Mir might be dead somewhere in a trashcan.......
Then Brock came in and talked trash, said Carwins belt was fake. It felt very WWE.Nate Diaz put it down on some chumps reppin his hood, then he did a shot out to moms.
GSP beat Hardy. He was all over him....but could not finish him. Hardy just could not stop GSP's takedown. He was stronger than GSP but just couldnt stop his takedown. If it stayed on the feet Hardy would have won.
All in all it was a kinda bland card. GSP needs to beat people and finish them. If he is supposed to be arguably the best Pound for Pound fighter.

It was a great event! wish they showed undercards when you get the PPV though.
Yeah our boy George manhandled Hardy but you could see how frustrated he was not being able to put him away. Although if Hardy wasn't related to Gumby I think his arm/shoulder would have exploded a couple of times. No clue how he survived a couple of the locks put on him. Way to be a frickin trooper man.
I kinda feel bad for Mir. Talk about getting destroyed!! To be honest I don't' care how eventually goes up against Lesnar but whoever it is I want them to destroy that loudmouth, redneck jerkwad.

Did anyone else experiece poor quality on the PPV? I watched at a friend's house and the signal was stuttering, pixelization, signal drag, etc. It was pretty bad. I know this event was also being shown in 300 movie theaters in HD simulcast across the US for the first time, wonder if that played a part?
But yeah, GSP needs to FINISH his opponents. And Brock Lesnar brings such a wrestling vibe, which I personally can't stand.

dan hardy must be some flexible and strong to get out of all those arm bars and submission holds

Well GSP said he was going to talk to his bjj coach to see what he was doing wrong. All he is going to get told is next time just break the guys arm. When he had him in that arm bar he could have pulled it further and made it snap.
Still the best fighter by far in that division though, Hardy wasn't in it at all- He looked like he was trying to break his arm. I don't think he held back after the 1st one.BannedKappa

^ GSP is a sportsman and mma is a sport.
When asked if he was afraid before fights, Fedor Emilianenko stated that there was no reason to be afraid because they are athletes not animals, so you can see why GSp would have no reason to break his arm and potentially end his career.
He knew he was ahead in the fight, if anything the ref should have stopped it at that point.- Not if Hardy doesn't tap though...which he didn't...which was impressive.stoplying
