I have a cloth animation with a texture that has an alpha channel.

    http://talesfromthehead.com/rand…

The transparency uses the alpha in the logo png i imported for the texture, but you get that part at the bottom that is on the plane that the texture image doesn't cover. The projection mode is Flat.

I could use the texture tool to scale up the texture, but isn't there a way to make that part transparent?

if you shorten the size of the plane while leaving the scale of the texture the same it will eliminate the bottom edge, no?

    • or just cmd-click the texture in the object manager and select fit to object.Chief

if your cloth is editable, what if you just delete the bottom row of polygons that intersect with the floor?
