I've been getting sick of my blog's stale design like a woman with terminal whooping cough. I'm looking for inspiration.
Do you guys know of any interestingly designed blogs that are still functional to browse? For example: blogs with custom themes per post or interesting navigation, etc.
Any links appreciated.

IMO the most interesting (and one of the few truly unique) blog designs was the one Suprb came up with with the Gridalicious theme. It doesn't work all that great for most sites, but there's something to be said for this idea of showing a bird's eye view of all the posts.
Here's another approach that is different - probably not practical, but still kinda cool

At the end of the day though, most people will dispense with the gimmickry and use the traditional vertical scrolling page approach. It works pretty well for reading a blog after all.
