  if apple wants more market share... they could do things like offer their iPhone on other carries other than ATT... etc etc... (same old argument... just newer technology to 'open up' to folks)... else - they'll always be second.

  I'm curious to see where Apple's additional revenues are going to come from over the next few years.

  iPad will fail, iPhone will be outmoded and the massive inflation of Apple computer usage is still tiny in in relation to the PC/Linux market.

  So, will Apple come to rely upon iTunes, etc? I can't imagine the other, bigger, media players will tolerate Apple once their cool sheen is lost.

  I think Apple should make a line of phones, not just one phone. Everyone talks shit about the Nexus One but that is going to be one of many Google phones to come. Only thing Apple really has going for it in the future is product volume of the App store. License the OS to competition. Apple prob would never do it, they are the worst when it comes to giving up any control.
