Natural Language Recognition

  Have any of you seen any good examples of using natural language typing to replace filling out web forms? (Im actually after an API for it)

  eg. I type into a single web form: "Sunday 12th February - Fishing"
  Instead of using four different form fields.

  I have seen it in the www.tripeedo.com flight search engine, and want to implement something like this into one of my own projects. (its also in 37 signals Backpack as a way of entering events into the calendar)

  Im guessing there must be an API out there for this surely?

  I might be better asking some devs, but thanks in advance for any knowledge
