I cannot for the life of me find a shortcut under the Keyboard Shortcuts menu for Type > Fill with Placeholder Text. Is it buried somewhere or it just not there?

right click the text box and fill with placeholder text is in there.

Guess that'll have to do. Nothing under shortcuts? Anyone?

it only takes one click? I don't know how much more of a shortcut you are looking for.

I will now use the right-click to insert thin/hair/em spaces, edit original and insert placeholder copy.

Choose: Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts.
Create a new shortcut set based on the default one.
From the Product Area drop down select Text menu.
Select "Fill with placeholder text" from the list.
In the New Shortcut box press the keys for your new keyboard shortcut (Alt+Shift+1).
You can also select the context in which you want the keyboard shortcut to function.
Click OK.
This should work.- or right click and insert placeholder text.capn_ron
