You want to test webpages? activate the developer menu in Safari (in preferences) and from there you can change the user agent and make it pretend it's mobile safari
For applications you need the SDK

Try safari.
There is a mobile development thread knocking about too.jsut dont use flash or position: fixed and you will be fine.

Well I was checking out a clients website today on the Iphone in the apple store and I had some float problems, in Safari on OS.X 10.5 all work great, on the iphone the divs that where floating left right had collapsed. I asked one of the apple tech guys and he could not explain why this might be happening.

generally when creating mobile versions I kill floats, opt for block elements and have everything 100%
I sort of operate on the principle (at the moment and in varying degrees) that a mobile site is far more about function than fashion.
although that doesn't mean you have to sacrifice the design for it to work.
