  in december 2008 i made the picture »pinned« from black paper pieces, thread and a frame all pinned directly to a wall with needles, keeping free a cross-shaped void. in april 2009 an english friend of mine died. the same night i found a gravid european striped cat. in june 2009 my new cat gave birth to 3 european striped cats plus one british spotted cat. in september 2009 i put a photography of my deceased friend on the wall - right under the pinned picture. a few days later the british cat jumped up to the frame and destroyed the setup. but the photography below prevented it from falling to the ground, leaving a confused image. since then the arrangement is very stable, although the dotted cat still jumps up from time to time.
