  I don't understand touchscreen computers (not including tablets), I mean, they come with a keyboard and mouse that you have to take your hands off to use the really expensive feature you just paid shitloads for.

  Is it fucking useless, or do I just not get it???

  They need to put two Firewire ports back on them. I have a late 2007 MBP with the 400 and 800 port, and they're used by an external drive for recording, and my Apogee Duet interface. I'm screwed on a new one unless they add a second one.

  We like it or not, every screen will be touchscreen in a few years. They will be a must, like mice. Possibly, that's how future diseases will spread.

  Funny, I once tried to touch a DVD option on my TV, when I stood close. iPhone did this to me.

  thanks for the posts above. I use it at home as a desktop with external monitor 95% of the time, so a firewire port wouldn't be so bad.

  I have two MyBooks, one on the Firewire 800 port for recording, and a second one on the USB port for Time Machine.

  Touchscreen is kinda useless. How about a better video card, more ram, blue-ray player, gps... you know. shit that you will actually use?
